The Process Of
Rotational Molding

Rotational molding, also known as “roto-mold”, is a highly advanced manufacturing technique used to create our spas. The process begins with a hollow, two-part mold, which is filled with granular polyethylene polymer (advanced high-mpact resistant powder plastic). The mold is then mounted to a sophisticated machine, which externally heats while biaxially rotating the mold. The heat softens the powder into liquid form. As the mold rotates, the “melted material” coats the inside of the mold. Intelligent software distributes the material evenly to ensure consistency of product. Once cooled, the two-part mold is opened, revealing a single piece uni-body constructed spa. The benefit of this manufacturing process is that our spas will never fade, rot, rust or tear. Also, they have the ability to withstand impact… quite literally an indestructible cabinet. A Durasport® Spa will look as beautiful in years to come as it does on the first day. We back that with the industry’s first LIFETIME WARRANTY!
